ProDictate is Pure Windows Technology
ProDictate is a web-based solution for dictation in homogeneous Windows environments and is entirely based upon Microsoft®'s .NET technology. All ProDictate applications are provided with a uniform Internet Explorer user interface. Maximum flexibility concerning voice input is ensured: You are able to dictate via telephone or digitally with the stationary Boomerang® device or with the mobile Walkabout® Express. Completed dictations are sent to the transcriptionists by a single push of a button, i.e. automatically.
ProDictate User Applications
Through its web-based application, ProDictate offers a user-defined dictation overwiev for dictators and transcriptionists.
Dictations and corresponding user informations are visible in a list, which means a great help in finding an individual dictation quickly. The graphical display can be chosen to be default or user-defined.
ProDictate runs on Citrix® Presentation Server 4.0
By deployment of ProDictate in a Citrix® Presentation Server? environment all applications of a digital dictation system are made available centrally. Thus IT administration and system configuration are being simplified.
User administration with Active-Directory
User administration is accomplished by the Active-Directory-Server. No additional user administration and thus no further account administration is required.
Utilization of Locally Available Hardware Resources
ProDictate can be installed on your locally available server hardware running Microsoft® Windows® Server 2000/2003. There will be no further costs by hardware purchase or software licences for the operational system. System requirements for a ProDictate installation are described below.
Simple ProDictate Installation and Administration
The network installation mode with its graphical user interface provides plenty of configurational options. The system administrator does not have to install and configure the software on every single user's workstation.
ProDictate Supports Dictation- and Transcription-Hardware without Driver Installation
Due to the ProDictate installation concept, additional installation of software applications and hardware drivers is not required.
ProDictate with ProRecorder
The application allows you to record dictations. In this process the application records sound from a microphone or a stationary dictation device ,which is connected to a sound card. The outcome can be saved in diverse formats. ProRecorder is a desktop application which can do audio recording on Windows systems.
ProDictate is Scalable with Modules
The dictation-only solution can be extended by additional modules, which offers your organization an integrated solution. Following modules can be chosen as extensions: Reporting and Controlling, Document Management and Voice Recognition.
Workflow Optimization in Heterogeneous Environments
Due to the ProDictate interface concept, dictation- and transcription-solutions can replicate informations with other applications in a totally automatized way. All systems are intertwining smoothly, the result of which is the desired enhancement in effectivity.
ProDictate Analysis Tool
Provision and analysis of the ProDictate applications and several reports enables system administrators to fix installation- and configuration-problems easier. In additon to a report summary, detailed informations for error- and problem-recognition, as well as problem-solving suggestions are offered.
