I am getting error when I try to record: unable to initialize recording

At some BlackBerry devices (Curve 8330) you need to set the permissions manual. Open the BlackBerry menu and click:
-Options->Advanced Options->Applications->ProMobile
Open "Edit Permissions". Set the permissions to "Allow" for:
-Connections
-Interactions
-Isert Data
Save the settings.
