ProDictate
Questions about the ProDictate Dictation Application.
The configuration file on the Liscon ThinClient is stored in the folder /config/thinclient.
Push Ctrl + Alt + C at Liscon Thin Client and login with admin password.
- Click at the administration on "All"
- Click in the middle on "Event Commands"
- At the "Run Command 2" enter "/ config/thinclient/tc-init.sh"
- Click "Change"
- Click on "Save changes"
- Restart the Thin Client
The following settings must be set up to use Thin Clients with ProDictate:
ThinClientSampleRate=8000,
ThinClientUploadBanwidth=0 (zero),
ThinClientDownliadBanwidth=0 (zero)
Speex Abtastrate=SPEEX_NARROW_BAND
The ICA connection should be restarted.
By default, the delete routine is set to 30 days and can be customized.

Cause
1. Legacy Virtual Channel drivers that use the Virtual Channel SDK are sending information two times to the server. During this condition, the server will refuse the connection.

Resolution
1. Workaround to provide for 10.2 clients and above:
Add the following value into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\WFClient
REG_SZ: AllowVirtualDriverExLegacy
Assign “FALSE” to it.
- Or -
Add AllowVirtualDriverExLegacy=FALSE to Default.ICA file in Web Interface.
2. Remove Congestion Monitoring from the registry.
The user. NET control error points to the lack of permissions:
User .NET control failed to initialize! -- Please check .NET 2.0 security settings.
Please run as administrator the following command:

Please replace XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with the DNS name or IP address of your ProDictate server.
Please check the path "Connect String" in the file ProDictateUploader.exe.config.
ProMobile
Questions about the ProMobile Application.
The buttons layout for controlling the functions can be configured in ProMobile menu. There are four programmable buttons, which can be configured with different functions and are activated when you open the recorder.
- Start ProMobile
- Go to Settings
- Click on button settings
- Click on a button and select a function. Repeat the process with de other buttons.
- Click on "Menu" and "OK" to save the settings.
When installing ProMobile via OTA the application permissions must be set before downloading. Please uninstall the ProMobile from your device and install the software again. Set the application permissions to "Allow".
After logging on to URL http://www.mybrainworks.eu/ota with your phone the device was not detected. Send us a message over http://www.mybrainworks.eu/contact about your smartphone so we can includ it to the compatibility list.
You also have the option to download the browser software on your PC and install the software on the smartphone.
Open the URL and select the hardware type http://www.mybrainworks.eu/my_downloads your smartphone. The displayed applications can be downloaded.
ProMobile creates dictation in "AMR" format. To use speech recognition you need to convert AMR into WAV format.
You can use our transcription application ProPlayer http://www.mybrainworks.eu/en/en_proplayer to convert the AMR files to WAV files.
Please open the Settings menu ProMobile and go to the memory settings.
By default, we use only 20% of free memory for the dictations. You can adjust the maximum amount of memory and change the value. In addition there is the storage time is an indicator of the total time for new dictations.
You need to upgrade the firmware OS to minimum 4.3 on your Pearl 8100.
If the installation of ProMobile over OTA can not be done, follow the installation instructions.
-Click on the main menu "Market"
-Log in with your Goolge Market Account
-Install AppsInstaller from ModmyGphone.com
-Connect your Android device with a USB cable to your PC
-Connect as mass storage the SD card
-Copy ProMobile "ProMobile.apk" into the root directory of the SD card
-Disconnect the USB cable from your phone
-Click on the main menu on AppsInstaller
-Select ProMobile at the AppsInstaller window
-Click "Install"
-After the successful installation, click "Done"
-Quit AppsInstaller and start ProMobile from the main menu
At some BlackBerry devices (Curve 8330) you need to set the permissions manual. Open the BlackBerry menu and click:
-Options->Advanced Options->Applications->ProMobile
Open "Edit Permissions". Set the permissions to "Allow" for:
-Connections
-Interactions
-Isert Data

Please check the email of the sender in the ProMobile e-mail settings. When sending a dictate over the BES service, the e-mail address must correspond with the BES server.
If the Blackberry Curve 8330 is running on the Verizon network and the firmware is 4.3.0.127, you have to upgrade the firmware to 4.5.0.77. Please contact your carrier to get the firmware.
The application installation files require permission settings at the the Application Manager program. At the Nokia E71 the application security settings are in Application Manager. Open the Application Manager and click ProMobile to open the settings.
- Click on "Network "Settings“.
Select "always allowed."
- Click on „Connection“.
Select "always allowed."
- Click on „Multimedia“.
Select "always allowed."
- Click on „Read user data“
Select "always allowed."
- Click on „Edit user data“.
Select "always allowed."
Exit the settings by clicking "Back".
503 - ProDictate is not reachable or switched off
401 - Username is incorrect
500 - config file not allocated
405 - Configuration URL is incorrect
411 - Smartphone login on ProDictate is not possible

This is a DNS error. The problem is in the OS.
Go to Options->Mobile Network->Tools->DNSLookup->Clear DNS Cache to fix the issue.
You need to upgrade your firmware to 4.5. to avoid this error.
The upgrade of the firmware for the BlackBerry is free of charge.
